12-12-2018 There has been a long period of silence around the frontman and vocalist Jon from Hecate Enthroned, and his departure with the band. For those all heard of him know him from the debut ep and the follow up 2 full lengths. There were rumors about Jon continueing with the band Throne of Lucifer with 3 other ex-Hecate Enthroned members.
Inside source tells different, and Jon has been working hard on a new project called 'Imperial Genocide' as 4 tracks are completely finished. It is abit shady how rest of the lineup consists of, but it is already confirmed Andy from Hecate Enthroned among others is taking care of the songwriting and guitars.
The style can be best described as Death Metal ala Zyklon with Black Metal touches, and keyboards. The band set up a Facebook bandprofile visit

06-11-2018 !!! TODAY !!! is my Birthday. I have become 39 Years young (06.11.1979)! Not going to do something special, since celebrating my birthday last saturday with family. Got a cool new frying pan from my parents and oldest brother. This one works with heat, so no more use of fat.
From my other brother and his girlfriend I got some cash to buy something for myself. Bought a new white cabinet with 2 brown rush baskets for it. Looks rather neat in the livingroom. I put the cabinet with cassettetapes on top. KILLER!
03-11-2018 The news is abit old, but never considered outdated due its magnificent importance. A Lemmy Kilmister Clarke statue has been revealed at the Rainbow Bar & Grill, Los Angeles in 2016. Lemmy was the longtime frontman of the successful Britian Rock & Roll band Motorhead. Besides that he also was the only original member left in the band. After the death of Lemmy, there also comes an end of a longtime glorious story of the band, after the demise of rest of the original members 'Fast' Eddy Clarke (2018) and Phil Taylor (2015).

20-10-2018 The Dutch female vocalist Floor Jansen known from the Gothic Metalband Nightwish and her ex-bands After Forever and Revamp released a new solo record with Northward. It is different than we are used from her, combining Hardrock with Alternative influences. Northward is a collaboration between Floor and Jorn Viggo Lofstad from Pagan's Mind.Floor Jansen relocated from the Netherlands to Sweden to live at a lake with her Swedish boyfriend Hannes Van Dahl, who is known as the drummer with Sabaton. Floor give birth to a daughter in 2017 and they named her Freija.The new album is released by Nuclear Blast, Europe and NOW! available.

My Indigo is the new solo-project by the Dutch female Gothic vocalist Sharon Den Adel. Sharon is worldwide known as singer for the Gothic Metal band formation Within Temptation. My Indigo plays a style of Alternative Popmusic, and released their debut earlier this year entitled simply 'My Indigo'. You can check out some aspects of the music on the band's website.

A small note and 'Fuck you!' to all the so called 'Underground Magazines'who ask hundreds of dollars for bands to advertise in their Magazine. As some of you may know bands don't have the right finances to be in such zines. It is ridiculous and completely out of hand!
Magazines make the excuse they need the money to cover the expensis on the free Compilation CD's and advertisements etc. Those employees have to think through, and think of other solutions.There are also other cheaper solutions or possibilities. A mediakit from Zero Tolerance Magazine with prices etc. view and that is just only an example!

'The True' Mayhem from Norway still in the classical line-up, since the reunion in the mid nineties. Photosession is from the 'Chimera' album release back in 2004. I got the luck in seeing them live with one of the final last performances with Maniac as vocalist with a show at Vera, Groningen The Netherlands.

After a long period of hibernation the from origin Bavaria, Germany Black Metal band As Stormclouds Gather returns with a new e.p. after the last release 'Darkest Temptations' back in 2002, entitled 'Beyond The Gates Of Sorrow' (2018). I can't believe this album will be celebrating its 20th Year anniversary next year (rel.1999). I was 19 back then, and first time ever heading for a large 3-day festival. Dynamo Open Air,1999 at Mierlo, Eindhoven.
It felt like yesterday hearing this album, and by far the best the band ever did in their whole career. The record starts with 'The Immortal' song which is a high class innovative piece of melodic Death Metal, with brilliant solos, and solid chords! Just like the rest of the album. Seriously doesn't get you bored.

26-08-2018 The first album ever! that got me introduced to the raw sound of Black Metal back in 1994, when i was only 14 years young. And no...it wasn't Mayhem's '' De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas'' that persuade me to love this sound, but '' In the Nightside Eclipse'' by the Norwegian Emperor.
In the beginning i really had to get used to the sound of this particular record, besides '' Under A Funeral Moon'' by Darkthrone.I purchases both records at a local recordstore 20 kilometers from where l lived, and drove off with my bicycle every saturday to that shop, to check out most recent Metal album releases.The store had a cabinet with 2nd hand cd's, and bought both records there.
In 2014 the band celebrated its 20th anniversary of ''In The Nightside...'' by playing the entire full set of the album on the German Metalfestival ''Wacken Open Air'', with almost the classic line-up,with Faust (Bård Guldvik Eithun,the original member on this album) behind the drumkit.Kinda sad Tchort wasn't involved in this memorbale reunion concert.

''Midian'' was the last album of Cradle of Filth until i quit following them.As the band developed,also alot of lineup chances occured,with until this day only Dani Filth (vocalist,and founding member) as original member left in the band.My personal favorite is the '' Bathory aria'' from the album '' Cruelty and the Beast'' which hides so much epic moments in one single song!The track has been split in a three-way part, which tells the story of the blood countess Elizabeth Bathory.

What a whining if or should i release physical releases.The answer about that is YES! Yet, i found some difficulties here and there for my plan to work. I have high doubts the 2 digital free too download compilations will be turned into physical releases.Only, if only there is enough demand for it.Or else its money and time worthless spend. I have everything organised, the Art artist, the pressingfactory, the bands...only obstacle is finances!and copyright issues, which i already thought it would be a long waste of time waiting.The original label still hesitates to give the rights of the album,so i finally can release it on vinyl!

My idea was to rerelease the classic ‘’ Dwell within the Mysterious Dark’’ from 1998 by the Dutch Symphonic Black Metal maestros Liar of Golgotha on a nice gatefold double vinyl.However, their old recordlabel MASCOT disagrees.Without any replies back they still let us wait for no reason.An appropriate answer would be nice?! From the bandside on it was all cool.Vincent Meelhuysen (Ister) even give me his blessing. The artwork of the rerelease would stay the same, as it has been painted back in time by the later drummer in Liar of Golgotha, namely Yuri Rinkel.Vincent his words were ‘’ The artwork belongs to the rest of the album,as a whole’’. This record is my alltime favorite by theirs,and also ment an international breakthrough in the European scene, with a tourpackage of Liar of Golgotha,Enthroned and Dark Funeral.

There is some news concerning the Norwegian artist Roger Orv Nilsen.Most recent update is that his newest project The Coons is no longer.However, he is active again with his main band Draugsang,which plays True Norwegian Black Metal.Eventhrough it became quiet after the release of the mcd the band is rollin'again.Besides that Orv did also some vocals not long ago for his side-band Wrath Passion with Daniel Markussen,which recorded a couple of new songs,however not released to audience yet.
All in all we can say time doesn't stands still.I also want to congratulate Daniel Markussen with his marriage.Hopefully you two get really happy together. Draugsang on Facebook

14-07-2018 Purgatory is a German Death metal band which comes from Nossen,Saxony,and already are active since 1993,with their first demorelease '' Boneyard''.Through the years they have been quite active and released one album after another with highlight such as their debut ''Damage done by Worms'' and the highpraised ''Blessed with Flames of Hate''.
Also their live appearances weren't kept unnoticed,and with one of their live shows Onielar from Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult appeared as guestvocalist doing a performance with them.
To celebrate their 20-year anniversary ''XX(20 years of Underground)'' the band released a double CD,and single Vinyl with compilation tracks ,and a ASPHYX ''The Rack'' cover track.
Besides their own releases,the band did some split releases with bands such as Seirim (Rel.Perverted Taste Records),Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult (The legion of Chaos),and Lie in Ruins (The legion of Desolation,2018),both released through the German Animate Records,on cd/lp format.

The Norwegian artist Kathrine Shepard who goes under the artist name Sylvaine released her debut '' Silent chamber,Noisy heart'' in 2014.Her style can be defined as shoegaze with Black Metal influences.The multi-instrumentalist started to co-operate with Neige from Alcest,and Amesoeurs,and Andy,known for his photography and the band Soror Dolorosa.Now in 2018 we can expect a return with a new album,after the release of the 2016 album '' Wistful'' ,and once again released by the French label Season of Mist.
